Privacy policy

Screen Keys is made by André Costa, an independent developer in Portugal. This policy covers the Screen Keys app and this website.

The app

Screen Keys collects no personal data. It has no account, no analytics, no crash reporting and makes no network connections.

• Accessibility permission lets it read where windows are and move or resize them. It doesn't read what's inside them.
• Screen Recording permission, if you give it, lets it take pictures of windows for the side-by-side picker and for the slide between screens. The pictures stay in memory for a moment and are never saved or sent anywhere.
• Settings, such as your shortcuts, are kept on your Mac in the app's preferences.

Buying

Orders are handled by FastSpring, our reseller and merchant of record. FastSpring collects your name, email address, payment details and country to process the order, work out tax and send your receipt and licence. Their privacy policy is at fastspring.com/privacy. We receive your name, email address and what you bought, and use them only to send your licence, answer you and handle refunds.

This website

This website uses no cookies and no analytics. It loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to send them.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Write to andrejccosta@gmail.com and we'll answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD.
