Fill the screen, then put it back
The window grows to fill the screen, leaving the Dock and menu bar where they are. Tap again and it glides back to the size and place it had.
Screen Keys is a small Mac app that fills the screen, puts two windows side by side and carries windows to other screens and Spaces, with a tap or a swipe on the trackpad or a keyboard shortcut.
The window grows to fill the screen, leaving the Dock and menu bar where they are. Tap again and it glides back to the size and place it had.
The window takes the left half, and your other windows appear as pictures in the right half. Pick the one you want beside it. Double tap again to swap the two.
Swipe and the window comes with you to the desktop Space beside this one, keeping its size and place. No dragging to the edge of the screen and waiting.
With a second display, the window slides across to the screen above, below or beside it. It keeps the same size in centimetres, so text doesn't jump in size between a laptop and a large monitor.
Gestures act on the window under the pointer, so you can tidy a window without clicking it first. Keyboard shortcuts act on the window you're typing in. You can switch gestures to the focused window in the settings.
The menu bar item lists every action. Change any shortcut there, or turn one off.
| Shortcut | Gesture | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| ⌃⌘←→↑↓ | 3 fingers up or down | Move the window to the screen that way |
| ⌃⌥⌘←→↑↓ | Move every window on this screen to the screen that way | |
| Your choice | 3 fingers left or right | Carry the window to the Space that way |
| Your choice | 3-finger double tap | Side by side, or swap the pair |
| Your choice | 4-finger double tap | Fill the screen, or put the window back |
